We have been looking at the work of Lowry and we have been creating characters from The Match painting and also recreating a painting of the factories of Manchester. We have also looked at Lowry's life and written excellent biographies!
To compliment our work on workhouses we have been drawing work houses and creating scenes from a Victorian city using charcoal as our media which gives the effect of a coal filled, unpleasant place to be! ,
