As you are aware, keeping your children safe is a priority here at Edith Weston Academy. Our children unfortunately now face many dangers and as such, we would like to invite you to come and have a hot drink and watch a presentation on ‘Keeping children safe online and in the real world.’ This will take place on Friday 1st December in the hall from 2:30-3:15 and will be led by David Barsby, a Prevention Officer for Rutland.

David will be able to advise on matters relating to your child’s digital resilience, privacy settings, parental filters, apps children use on phones and tablets, gaming, appropriate screen times for your child or indeed any other matter you may wish to seek guidance on. You should be able to leave the session with a range of strategies to help you to keep your children safe. Do come and have a chat!
