School trips
We have three trips planned before the end of term so please watch out for the letters for

- Castle Trip event date 17.7.18
- Osprey Trip event date 18.7.18
Further details will follow in the form of letters with slips to be completed and returned.

Science Week !! WOW what a fantastic week learning about science with experiments and learning how to make scientific observations! We have set up two experiments which we will be monitoring over the next two weeks! Pictures will be added showing the changes we have predicted will happen.
We have been making paper pulp from recycled paper ready to make a brand new sheet of paper for our Easter art work. It has been a messy process!! Watch out for the results.
As part of our work we have been looking into the plastic pollution in the oceans and the children have written their own news reports. We have made plastic jelly fish and fish from plastic bags. The children have also written acrostic poems about turtles and dolphins.

Term 4 - Let's Recycle!
The termly letter is attached noting details of this terms learning focus across all subjects. We will be looking forward to Easter and creating many craft and art products.
We are planning a short trip to visit our beautiful local church to understand the features of the inside and outside of the church.
Please note that swimming remains on a Tuesday however PE has changed to a Friday! PE kits is white T shirt with black or navy shorts. Children will need appropriate footwear such as trainers or plimsolls.
A further trip is planned on the last week of term and a letter will follow shortly regarding this.

Term 3 Let's Play
Welcome back! Everyone seems to have had a super Christmas and the children have been keen to share news of their presents and family celebrations.
We have an exciting topic all about TOYS including looking at toys from the past and comparing them to toys now. We have started watching the film Toy Story and will be focusing on the main characters of Woody and Buzz. The children all seemed very engaged with the film when we started watching it!
Our termly letter is attached for you to look at and it details all the subjects to be covered this term.
We have hit the ground at speed working on diary entries, verb tenses and shape and symmetry in maths. The children have been looking at signs of winter and thinking about the animals that sleep through the cold or migrate to warmer countries!
We take lots of photos of our learning and these will be added to the webpage so keep a look out!
