Busy Bee's foundation stage

Beach Day! We all had lots of fun in the sun today.

More Super Sentences.

Olivia and Grace wrote amazing sentences this week. Well done girls.

Super Sentence heroes, this week Oscar and Maddison shone in our writing corner.

Super Sentence Writers. The first week of term Ollie and Thomas became the superheroes in our sentence writing challenge. Well done boys.

Term 6

This term our topic is Superheroes. The books we will be reading include Super Duck, Super Tato, Ten Little Superheroes, Super Daisy and Super Worm.


We will be having a super hero day on Thursday 28th June, where we can all dress up as superheroes for the day.


On Thursday 19th July we will be having a beach day, with watery and sandy fun, more details to follow.


Generally we hope, weather permitting, to be able to make the most of our outside space as much as humanly possible. With this in mind we anticipate that they may come home messy, and dirty. So we appreciate your understanding.


We are also hoping to have a visitor in our class to talk about the story of bread, and we will even be making some bread.

We had a lovely picnic at Rutland Water.

We froze some plastic animals and then watched them thaw out.

We recently had our annual EYFS visit from the local authority and we are thrilled to have been judged as 'Outstanding.'

"The wonderfully enabling, well organised, environment, the range of child centred activities and the rich interaction of the practitioners all contributed to the ‘Outstanding’ provision observed fully meeting the learning and development requirements of the EYFS through a broad and balanced curriculum"
